The Process
Step 1
Follow the Prompt Pack
Place your order and receive your prompt pack, either as an immediately accessible download or as a physical copy, mailed straight to the address you provide.
This workbook contains explanatory notes, warm-up activities, areas for note-taking and brainstorming as well as a curated series of questions or sentence starters to help guide you through the story-telling process.
Individuals can record their answers in handwriting, typed script or recorded audio files taken on their smartphone.
At the entry level price, you have the choice to self-publish (with instructions provided) or upgrade a later date to Encyclopedia Humanitas’ Premium Service.
Step 2
Transcription and Editing
For those who choose a Premium Service, answers are sent to support@enchuman.com at the end of each module which are then transcribed and edited into the book format.
You may hear from one of our editors to clarify a point but if not, you can assume we are waiting for the next instalment of the story.
Sometimes chapters are accompanied by photo pages, in which case we will ask for high level resolution photographs (which can be scanned and emailed in). There is the option to add as many chapters as you would like, as well as further colour or black and white images.
At the end of the process, the book is compiled, and you may be contacted for a 1:1 conversation to review your book, clarify certain points or request further images or information.
Step 3
Final Approval
Once the book has been edited and formatted, a pdf copy will be sent to you for your final approval before printing the high-quality hard cover volume for your personal library.
