Encyclopedia Humanitas was born fundamentally out of a love for humanity.

As a child my father would often take me with him as he visited elderly members of the community. I heard their many remarkable stories and was so often amazed. There they sat, doing something as mundane as chatting over a cup of tea. And yet within them, unseen, was this reservoir of fascinating and moving experiences.

For me, our stories are special in two ways:
1) They are the precious jewels one individual gathered over their lifetime, born at an untold cost.
2) Collectively they are the intimate history of our journey as a species, our evolution.

I came to desire a way of preserving these stories for the generations to come. Encyclopedia Humanitas is the answer to that desire.

It is a beautiful way to honor, thank and acknowledge the people that came before us, to create an ongoing family story that lives on forever and to preserve those jewels for the generations to come.
